Vous l’aviez peut-être entraperçue sur mon dernier post : voici une de mes dernières trouvailles british ! D’ailleurs, pour tout vous dire je n’arrive pas à décider s’il s’agit d’une robe ou d’un top (bien que je pencherais plutôt pour le top/tunique puisque je l’ai shoppé au rayon « Tall »).

Enfin qu’importe, son statut d’hybride me convient tout à fait. D’ailleurs tout est un peu indéfinissable dans cette robe/top, et c’est tant mieux car je déteste les étiquettes. Sa couleur particulière entre le corail et le saumon ainsi que son style à la fois années 20 et flamenco ont fini de me convaincre et en font une pièce originale qui je pense gardera une place de choix dans mon dressing.

Et pour accessoiriser tout ça, quoi de mieux qu’un collier lui aussi un peu hybride? Celui là je l’ai acheté chez H&M et j’ai tout de suite accroché au mélange détonnant des perles classique avec les grosses chaines en argent que Mister T n’aurait pas renié. Alors, je conçois qu’on peut trouver ça un peu too much mais personnellement, j’aime beaucoup ce genre de contrastes !

You had perhaps had a glimpse of it on my last post: here is one of my latest finds from GB ! To be honest I don’t really know if it supposed to be a top or a dress (although I would rather think it’s a top / tunic since I bought it in the « Tall » section).

Finally that doesn’t really matter, its hybrid status suits me perfectly. Besides, everything is a bit undescriptable in that dress / top, and that’s good because I hate labels. Its particular color between the coral and salmon as well as its style both flamenco and 20s have finally convinced me. It’s an original piece of clothe that wil, I think,  keep a special place in my closet …

And to accessorize it all, what’s better than a hybrid necklace ? I bought this one at H & M and I loved the explosive mix of classic pearls with thick silver chains that Mister T wouldn’t have denied . Maybe for some people this is a bit too much but personally  I love this kind of contrast!

Deux jours que je dois poster ces photos…Et plein de petites choses qui ont empêché la fille désorganisée que je suis de le faire ! J’espère me rattraper en vous les envoyant aujourd’hui. Et j’en profite donc pour vous montrer deux « petites » choses ramenées d’Outre-Manche : des bracelets en cuir dont je ne peux m’empêcher de compter les lanières, et des sandales un brin Chanelisantes, qui ont su capter mon regard dès que je suis entrée dans le magasin…Bon, le hic c’est qu’elles sont (très) moyennement confortables….Mais comme on dit, il faut souffrir pour être belle (oui ce slogan est un peu stupide, mais ô si vrai concernant les chaussures) ! I’ve wanted  to post these pictures for two days … And lots of little things have prevented the  disorganized girl that I am from doing it! I hope it will be okay if I send them only now. And I take this opportunity to show you two « little » things brought  from across the Channel: leather bracelets and Chanel-ish sandals that have attracted my attention as soon as I walked into the store … Well, my problem is that they aren’t very comfortable …. But as they say, you must suffer to be beautiful (yes, this slogan is a bit stupid but oh so true about the shoes)! On that note, have a good weekend! xxx

Je n’ai pas eu le coeur d’attendre de concocter une tenue pour vous montrer mes derniers achats, parce que je les aime déjà à la folie ! Des sabots, un cartable fortement inspiré du Mulberry, quelle fille influençable je fais, me direz-vous! Il y a sans doute un peu de ça, car il est si facile de succomber aux tendances… Mais à ce jeu là, je suis une victime consentante ! Et puis franchement, tendance ou pas, ce sac et ces chaussures sont terriblement craquants, non?

I haven’t the heart to wait to present you an outfit to show you my last purchases, because I already love them madly! A pair of clogs, a Mulberry inspired satchel, what a impressionable  girl I am you must tell yourself ! Yes, there is a bit of that, it is so easy to succumb to trends … But in this game, I am a willing victim! And frankly, trend or not, this bag and these shoes are so cute, aren’t they ?

Et une nouvelle semaine qui commence, une ! Au programme, révisions, révisions… Et on oublie le shopping jusqu’aux exams (enfin, on essaie) ! Dans un sens, c’est tant mieux, car je ne vous ai pas dit, mais le mois prochain je pars du côté de San Francisco…Alors mieux vaut que je garde mes sous pour ce voyage que j’attends avec impatience !  D’autant plus que j’ai des colis dans la nature qui ne sont toujours pas arrivés (Topshop, on ne te refera plus maintenant!). En attendant, j’avoue que je suis accroc aux couleurs claires, et en particulier au jean délavé bleach, à l’image de ce perfecto acheté à Londres (pas de risque de pertes de la poste là!). Il va falloir que je fasse attention à ne pas en remplir complètement mon armoire ! Et vous, qu’en pensez-vous? Pour vous le bleach doit-il rester dans les années 80 ou ressortir fièrement?

It’s a new week that begins ! The program? Work, work … And no shopping until the exams (well, I’ll try) ! And in a sense, it’s for the best because I’ve not said  yet that  next month I’m off to San Francisco … so I’d better keep my money for this journey I’m so impatient to do ! Especially since I have packages that haven’t still arrived (Topshop, we can’t change you now!). Meanwhile, I confess I’m obsessed with light colors, especially bleach jean, just like this jacket bought in London recently (no risk the post loose it here!). I’ll have to be careful not to completely fill my closet with bleach jeans! And you, what do you think? Should this colour remain in the 80s or be worn again proudly?

Vous ne rêvez pas : du soleil, une tenue légère… Et non, Lille ne bénéficie pas d’un micro-climat ! Ces photos ont été prises la semaine dernière, à l’époque où était encore présente la douce illusion que le printemps était installé…Ce temps paraît bien loin maintenant, mais je reste confiante, j’espère qu’on pourra ressortir les petites robes bientôt !

Little  hearts to begin the week aren’t a bad idea are they ? I bought this jumpsuit on the Topshop website before my departure to London. As a result, I have received it  after my return, and after seeing it on Oxford Circus (on sale damn !). But I’m not complaining, I like its childish side ! And I recently told you that I had some difficulties to like vintage stuff … Well this pair of shoes that made me change my mind!

Brr how cold! At the moment it’s not really motivating to take pictures or to try to make cool outfits. And I still have lots of things to show you * sigh *. Okay, I am making an effort today (before going back in my bed !). When I saw these boots at Topshop I later found their skating retro style very interesting. With the price helping a little bit (thank you sales), I made them cross the Channel … Well, anyway I will not attempt a skating demonstration on the frozen lake !

S’il y a bien une couleur qui me suit depuis des années quelque soient les caprices de la mode et des saisons, c’est bien le violet ! Moins girly premier degré que le rose, moins sérieux que le bleu, un peu mystérieux…. Bref cette couleur me correspond bien et j’aime beaucoup la distiller en petites touches comme sur cette tenue d’inspiration un peu rétro !

If there’s  a color that has followed me for years whatever the changes of fashion and seasons, it’s purple! Less  girly than pink, less serious than blue, a bit mysterious too…. In short this color suits me well and I love to wear it in small touches like in this outfit with a slightly retro inspiration !

Ahh zebra print … It’s just the same old story than with leopard print: a little risky but deliciously retro and funky! When I saw these boots on the Topshop website I said « no don’t dare … Zebra plus platforms are too much. » Then I had a flash from the 8o’s, I saw myself with these shoes, singing with the Misfits (from the cartoon « Jem and the Holograms », not the true punk band!) . By the time I decided my size wasn’t there anymore (I hate this site). In desperation I tried a size smaller and miraculously, they fit me ! Then, good luck for the start of the week!

Rahlàlà je vous jure, c’est pas tous les jours facile de trouver de l’inspiration pour les titres des articles. Alors parfois ça dérape et ça donne ça ! Mais il y a quand même une logique dans tout ça (si si!) : Halloween c’est pour bientôt (ouii) et ma tenue du jour est majoritairement composée de noir avec quelques touches de orange. Il ne manque plus que la citrouille grimaçante et ce titre prend donc tout son sens ! Mais revenons à nos moutons.  Je ne vous avais pas encore montré cette veste en cuir un peu officier dégotée chez Asos. Elle était épuisée mais avec Asos il faut parfois se montrer patient…La page sagement rangée dans mes favoris, j’ai guetté quelques jours jusqu’à ce que ma taille réapparaisse et bingo ! Quant  à ces boots je ne les ai pas mises souvent car  la couleur me dérangeait un peu… Mais maintenant c’est ça que j’aime chez elles !

Ahh I swear, it’s not always  easy to find inspiration for the articles titles. So sometimes the result is a bit weird! But there is still a logic in this : Halloween is coming soon (yeaah) and my today outfit consists mainly of black with touches of orange. We only needs the grinning pumpkin to complete ! But back on topic. I haven’t shown you yet this officer leather jacket I found at Asos. It was out of stock but with Asos you must sometimes be patient … I’ve watched for some days until my sizz go back.  As for these boots I havn’t worn them very often because the color bothered me a little … But now that’s what I like about them!
